Every Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00PM jazz guitarist Dick Gratton will be performing at Chambers Walk Cafe - 2667 Main Street - Lawrenceville NJ 08648. Telephone (609) 896-5995.
Guitarist Dick Gratton has been performing at Chambers Walk Cafe in Lawrenceville, NJ since November of 2006. His style of playing solo jazz guitar has been described as laid back and articulate - the kind of mainstream jazz that consists of original, colorful and unusual arrangements yet retains a recognizable melody and doesn't challenge the nervous system. In addition to standard jazz pieces, Dick also plays Broadway show tunes and popular songs of the 60s and 70s, all played in his unique style. This is solo jazz guitar played without any additional electronics other than light amplification - solo jazz guitar at its best.
Dick will also be featuring the arrangements and compositions of two legendary jazz musicians - concert guitarist Gene Bertoncini and pianist John Coates Jr.
