The living roots of jazz, blues, and R & B filter through the silky, sultry, sweet voice of “The Duchess of Jazz,” Doris Spears. A Chicago pro at 17, she has toured internationally with Lionel Hampton, Brother Jack McDuff, Clark Terry, and others.
